Description

Como estagiário de engenharia no setor de geração de energia você fará parte de um time inovador e experiente, o ambiente perfeito para se desenvolver tecnicamente e promover seu crescimento profissional dentro da R&D Technologies.  Você poderá aplicar e/ou desenvolver habilidades analíticas e de execução dentro de projetos, atvidades de manutenção e de testes de sistemas de geração de energia por células fotovoltaicas (FV). 

Responsibilities

·         Acompanhar testes de campo em diferentes tecnologias de sistemas FV, fazendo análise crítica da validade, assim como, da funcionalidade das rotinas de coleta, transmissão e depuração dos dados coletados.

·         Executar rotinas de programação que aperfeiçoem os softwares existentes ou que atendam novos clientes/projetos, sob supervisão de um Engenheiro da R&D Tech.

·         Desafiar métodos e processos estabelecidos na geração de energia por sistemass fotovoltaicos e propor soluções para problemas de nível baixo a médio.

·         Realizar imersão em dados e documentos acadêmicos na área de conhecimento de eficiência em geração energética afim de propor soluções com base nas pesquisas mais recentes e tendências do mercado.

·         Elaborar relatórios periódicos dos testes de pesquisas aplicadas, estabelecer novos procedimentos e rotinas de programação para checagem e aprovação de engenheiros

Requirements

·         Estar matriculado no quarto/quinto ano de Engenheria Elétrica.

.         Gostar de executar rotinas de programação e de avaliar melhorias

·         Ter vontade de trabalhar em campo estabelecendo paralelo da teoria com a prática, 60% em campo e 40% em laboratório.

.         Ser capaz de executar instalações elétricas de baixa e média complexidade com diagramas e desenhos de apoio.

·         Ser focado, independente e capaz de trabalhar longos períodos sozinho executando rotinas de acompanhamento e análise.

Description

As an Engineer with our CAE team, you will play a critical role through the design and development of R&D Technologies products.  You will analyze and optimize subsea equipment never before executed, enabled by innovative clean-sheet design methodology and R&D Tech's innovative project execution. 

Responsibilities

·         Develop FE models for analysis and optimization of multi-disciplinary engineers.

·         Develop CAE methods and process for solving engineering problems.

·         Challenge established traditional CAE methods and process to improve efficiency and accuracy.

·         Collaboratively work with test and CAD engineers to create specifications for data acquisition and virtual loads prediction. Test and analytical data must be suitable for use as load input for CAE based Flow assurance, Fatigue and Strength analysis.

·         Manage precise model versioning and alignment with CAD enabling speed and efficiency in design iterations.

·         Support world-class engineering teams with design direction based on your analyses.

·         Perform analysis for feasibility for manufacturing, assembly and service processes.

·         Provide input in the creation of component specification, component DFMEA, and other technical design documents where analysis plays a pivotal role

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.

.         Based in Europe or willing to move abroad, work permit will be provided.

·         Minimum 4 years of demonstrated successful experience in Finite Element Analysis, Computacional Fluid Dynamics, Applied Solid Mechanics and Numerical Methods within a subsea equipment product development environment.

·         Excellent applied software experience in ANSYS, OLGA and ABAQUS. Experience in custom programing is beneficial. Pre-processor experience in Hyperworks or ANSA is a differential.

·         Knowledge of optimization tools and techniques (Not required but preferred)

·         Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others on problems that are unusual or difficult.

·         Demonstrated ability in iterative and collaborative subsea engineering environments – success in roles requiring high levels of technical communication and interpretation of analytical results to Design Engineers and Technical Management.

·         Strong preference (but not required) for experience in 3D CAD modeling - Solidworks.

.         Design and develop of the mechanical components and products of subsea equipment as XMT, Manifolds, Tie-in, Well Head, Pipeline and subsea process equipment.
.         All component design using 3D CAD with the design output as drawings.
.         Assist the manufacturing and procurement departments during construction and commisioning
.         Produce conceptual designs and develop into detailed engineering design solutions.
.         Conduct engineering analysis, sizing, calculations and materials selection.
.         Create technical specifications, procedures and reports in line with quality, & customer requirements.

Description

As a Leader in our team, you will play a critical role through the design and development of R&D Technologies products.  You will inspire, develop people and innovate over subsea controls systems equipment, enabled by our clean-sheet design methodology and R&D Tech's innovative project execution. 

Responsibilities.        

  • Provide technical oversight of all issues related to or effecting the Control Systems Engineering Design aspects of the SPS equipment to ensure compliance with Contract specifications and requirements. Give much-needed Controls Engineering support to the SPS Package Engineering Lead.

  • Ensure implementation in his/her own discipline of all HSE and QC requirements and report to SPS Engineering Manager on any deviation.

  • Liaise with Company specialists within technical departments to ensure conformance of SPS Contractor’s proposed designs with, or for approval to derogate from, Company specifications.

  • Be the Leader for all SPS Control Systems Engineering related documentation, Approver on system-specific documents, consolidating comments in accordance with the Contract and Work Time Schedule ensuring consistency with Contract Specifications and requirements.

  • Liaise with other SPS Company disciplines to ensure that internal interfaces and transverse technical requirements are adequately incorporated into the definition of SPS design documentation.

  • Active participation in any technical interface workshops and in resolution of interface design issues between SPS and other packages

  • Provide required support to ICAPS Leader for review and evaluation of SPS pre-commissioning, commissioning and Equipment hand-over deliverables from SPS Contractor to ensure compliance with Company specifications and incorporation of requirements into design specifications.

  • Provide assistance to the SPS Engineering Manager, taking the lead for follow-up of SPS Contractor activities related to SPS Control Systems engineering design activities such as PFDs, P&IDs, Flow Assurance, Thermal Performance/Hydrate management, follow up of HAZOP/HAZID actions to ensure implementation.

  • Assist SPS Engineering Manager in the identification and management of Risk associated with Systems, Engineering Activities within the package. To be reviewed on a monthly basis.

  • Ensure overall design verification plan is implemented and all the required SPS studies and analyses are carried out in a timely and correct fashion.

  • Report Control Systems engineering progress regularly, formally through weekly and monthly reports, to the SPS Engineering Manager, highlighting critical problems and identifying potential schedule and cost impacts. Propose recovery and ensure technical implementation by the Contractor. Develop and monitor KPIs for the overall engineering scope.

  • Evaluation of the commercial aspects of the SPS Systems Engineering issues with particular emphasis on Contract Execution strategy including schedule, QA / QC requirements and interface management

  • Review and management of Contractor’s technical resources, identifying that they are adequate (and competent) for achieving the discipline works

  • Participate to preparation of the Change Order Appraisal Procedures and Documentation.

  • Assist in the resolution of technical and execution related queriesfrom both the SPS Contractor and Company teams. Review proposed deviations and give recommendation for project management approval.

  • Organise and / or represent Company for Control System and General Engineering related matters in meetings with the SPS Contractor, Company Project Teams, Universities, Research Institutes and Corporate entities

  • Contribute to continuous compilation of lessons learned for conversion into Project Feedback and for use in compilation of Close-Out Report.

  • Produce Close-out Report for Control Systems Engineering related activities.

  • Lead the Control System Engineering Unit and delegate to Subsea System Engineer as necessary.

  • Mentor Control System Engineer and Trainee(s) within the unit, ensuring performance targets are established and monitored

  • Deputise for SPS Engineering Manager on an as needed basis

  • To fully comply with office security, health and safety instructions.

Requirements

.         Worked  with Product Development on open and close innovation, knowledge of main standards and suppliers. 

·         Knowledge of optimization tools and techniques (Not required but preferred)

·         Demonstrated success in roles requiring high levels of technical communication and interpretation to Design Engineers and Corporate Management.

·         Demonstrated ability to deliver analysis on difficult projects with tight timing constraints to foreign customers (North America or Europe)
